A quick note for my almost non-existant clientele...

Moopf Murray has decided to discontinue support for both his Skoopf Skates and his Bubble Gum machines. His profile says this is because he's no longer in SL.

Due to this, the Bubble Gum machine that was in my store is no longer available. I have removed it so nobody would try to buy something from a thing that doesn't work anymore (as of March 31st 2011).

This is a sad day for SL, I hate to see Moopf disappear.
I mean, I REALLY FREAKIN hate to see this happening!!!

Moopf, you will be missed. So will your stuff.
(Oddly enough, I just had someone in my store who bought some bubble gum within the past day or two.)

Here we are, 2 months later to the day and we're still somewhere in the middle of the tunnel.

I finished the wallpaper I had just started last time, but it has to be completely redone from scratch. On the other hand the T-Shirt templates are finished and a couple shirts are done. There's one free shirt and one for sale (L$44) in the store now, the one for L$44 is the design made as the prize for the Naughty Snowman contest going on in the sim, Zindra.

I may also be hosting a couple vendors of outside merchandise. We'll see how it goes, but there's a good chance I'll throw a couple interesting/funny ones in there.

That's about it for now. Still not sure when the actual Grand Opening will be, but that light has gotten a bit larger so I think we're at least getting closer to the end of this mighty long tunnel!

A quick update on what's going on:

I've put off working on content for a while now. The damn t-shirt template I'm making is aggravating, so I decided to ignore it for awhile. I will be getting back to it fairly soon though (as in, within the next couple weeks), in the meantime I've started work on the "wallpaper" for the in-world store. Not a huge development, but that's where it's at.

I won't be promising when the store will open, but I'll continue to make infrequent updates for my imaginary readers.

Hey people!

Here's the deal at this point... I'm working on some content (yes, still) and have a few different ideas in mind. Since the last time I posted ("Content is a-brewin'") there have been a couple minor changes for now. There's that free t-shirt laying against the back wall of the shop, as well as a bubblegum machine (by Moopf Murray) next to the doorway.

But, the point wasn't what few things are there now. It's about looking to that bright (and slightly bacon-scented) light of the future. * Where the wind and sea sing in harmony, accounting every awesome thing that has come to fruition all because Bang Rumpus has reached its grand opening event!

I'm currently hoping to have the event either the last weekend of this month, possibly the first weekend in September. (I may switch to mid-week, playing that by ear still.) Between now and then I'll be stocking the store with content as I get it done. Once I finalize the t-shirt template I should start chugging along at a much better pace, at which point I can get into a wider selection of content. Planned stuff includes t-shirts (of course), animations/gestures (don't expect them to be high quality :P), skins (nothing normal planned, using skin bases by eloh) and various other novelty items (could be anything).

So, the in-world storefront has had a minor facelift and there is one free product there to be had... for now.

You can also find a wooden table on the roof of the store and chill out there, if you so choose. There's 80's rock/metal playing on the stream and there's 6 poses in the table/benches. I know the store hasn't really got anything by way of stock at the moment, but I'm duefully working on it and should have a slew of products ready fairly soon (of course, "slew" could mean "several").

For starters, the store will feature mainly original T-Shirts. Further on you can expect a widening variety of objects for sale. I'm not sure exactly where this is going to go, except for the part where I do whatever I damn well please. As soon as there is sufficient interest, I'll create a group in-world for store/product announcements and general chat.

Other than that... I guess you can just hold your breath for now. :)
